Founded by Rosalind Resnick, one of America's most successful woman entrepreneurs, Axxess Business Consulting opened for business in September 2002 and has worked with more than 500 clients in industries ranging from retail and restaurants to fashion, manufacturing, wholesale distribution, technology and real estate. Rosalind, a former business and computer journalist, built her Internet marketing company, NetCreations, Inc., from a two-person home-based startup to a public company that generated $58 million in sales before it was acquired by a European marketing conglomerate for $111 million cash in 2001. Rosalind Resnick - Senior Strategist
Rosalind Resnick is a nationally acclaimed writer, speaker and expert on entrepreneurship. One of the pioneers of the commercial Internet business, Rosalind co-founded NetCreations in March 1995 and served as the company's CEO and President until December 2001, pioneering the concept of 100% Opt-In® email marketing in 1996 and spearheading the company's successful IPO in 1999. Rosalind also hosted America Online's NetGirl Forum, one of the Internet's most popular online dating services, from 1995 to 1996. Her articles about entrepreneurship and small business regularly appear in Entrepreneur Magazine and Entrepreneur.com, and Rosalind has been a guest lecturer at Harvard, NYU and Pace University business schools. Rosalind received B.A. and M.A. degrees in History from Johns Hopkins University. Richard Wooley - Senior Financial Analyst
Richard Wooley is a management consultant and serial entrepreneur who co-founded and operated several of New York City’s most successful legal staffing and employment agencies. A former Washington speechwriter, Richard is also a well-regarded screenwriter and producer who previously headed up business strategy at The Shooting Gallery, the New York independent film company that won an Academy Award for the movie, Sling Blade. Since joining Axxess Business Consulting five years ago, Richard has served as Senior Financial Analyst, helping clients refine their business and marketing strategies and supervising the team of financial analysts and writers that develops its clients’ business plans and financial models.
Brad Christen - Financial Analyst
A veteran "Excel jockey", Brad earned his MBA at INSEAD/Wharton (University of Pennsylvania) and honed his skills as a consultant for MasterCard International, CitiCards and American Express. Over the last five years, he has worked as a financial analyst at Axxess Business Consulting, assisting clients in developing financial models and business strategies. He has also performed valuation and sensitivity analyses as well as market analyses, competitive analyses and customer segmentation.
Marla Markman - Senior Writer
Marla is a publishing professional with 20 years of experience creating, editing and managing content for a range of media, from magazines and books to web sites and marketing collateral. Marla was formerly Senior Projects Editor of Entrepreneur Press where she acquired, developed and managed series of more than 50 books. She assists Axxess Business Consulting’s team of financial analysts in writing and editing its clients’ business plans.
